Bishkek, May 19, 2020 / Kabar/. Kindergartens in Kyrgyzstan may resume working on June 1, the country’s First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told at a news briefing.
He said that there was a dispute at the republican headquarters over the issue of resuming the work of kindergartens.
“But for now, we decided to leave for June 1. If the epidemiological situation is stable, then from the 1st day we will announce,” he said.
Boronov said that educational institutions will not open, because there is still a risk of infection.
27 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan as of May 19, raising the total to 1243.
898 citizens have been recovered and discharged from hospitals, including 219 medical workers.
Fourteen have passed away.
