The opening ceremony of the KOICA e-Learning Center was held on Thursday at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Republic of Korea through the Representative Office of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The solemn ceremony of cutting the red ribbon was held by the Head of the KOICA Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Yi Jong-Su and the Rector of the Academy Almazbek Akmataliev, the KOICA Office reported.
In the period of digital transformation, this e-learning center will strengthen the level of education of students of the Academy and serve as another impetus on the way to the digital future of Kyrgyzstan.
The Representative Office of KOICA in the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the implementation of the Framework Agreement on Grant Aid between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic helps the development of Kyrgyzstan through the implementation of state projects, one of which is the "WFK Volunteer Program". Since 2014, the WFK volunteer program has been sending volunteers and experts to educational and government institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. In the near future, a volunteer will be sent to the Academy to further promote e-learning, the report said.
