KOICA to build Digital Training Center in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 6, 2024. / Kabar /. During the visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Korea, the Ministry of Digital Development and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed a Protocol of Negotiations in the Field of Digitalization.

The ministry reported that this document, signed by Minister Nuriya Kutnaeva and KOICA President Chang Won Sam, opens a new stage of cooperation between the two countries in the field of digital transformation.

The protocol provides for the construction of a modern digital training center where civil servants and citizens wishing to master relevant digital skills will be able to study. The center will be equipped with advanced equipment and software, and the training will meet the demands of the labor market and modern technologies.

The total cost of the project is estimated at USD 7 million.
