Koopsuzduk-2022 and South-2022 exercises kick off in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh

Bishkek, May 24, 2022. / Kabar /. The joint command-staff and mobilization exercises "Koopsuzduk-2022" and the integrated mobilization exercises "South-2022" has started on May 24, in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh and Jalal-Abad Oblast.

The opening of the exercises was attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlis Terdikbaev, the Chief of the Osh City Operational Headquarters, Vice Mayor of Osh Sonunbek Zhunusbaev, the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and others.

The theme of the exercises: "The work of state bodies in the conditions of the introduction of martial law in certain areas of the republic."

During the exercise, tasks will be completed to stabilize the situation in the context of the introduction of martial law in the region with the practical formation of separate reserve formations.

The security and defense of strategic facilities, the setting up of checkpoints by the forces of reserve units will be organized. Regional divisions of ministries and departments will carry out a practical demonstration of the evacuation of civilians from a particular area, the deployment of filtration points and temporary accommodation for refugees. The exercises will end on May 26.
