Korean Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan asked to assist in providing medical equipment in 47 colonies

Bishkek, Mar. 18, 2019. /Kabar/. Head of the State Service for Execution of Punishments (SSEP) of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turganbayev discussed cooperation issues with Ambassador of Korea, the press service of the SSEP reported.

Turganbayev had a meeting with Ha Tae-yeok on Monday, during which they discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the implementation of joint projects.

“Melis Turganbayev proposed to implement projects to equip the hospital of the SSEP and correctional colony No. 47 with medical equipment through the representative office of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Kyrgyz Republic,” the service reported.

The Ambassador, in turn, noted that there is a need for exchange of experience of the penitentiary systems of the two countries.
