Korea’s Eximbank ready to continue realization of projects in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea Aida Ismailova met with Hwang Kiyon, Senior Executive Director of the Export-Import Bank (Exim Bank) of Korea and Head of Department of the Korea Economic Development Cooperation Fund EDC Eom Seong-Young.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the financing of social and infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for the implementation of projects in such areas as: energy, construction and modernization of hospitals, airports, acquisition of road transport equipment and machinery.

Representatives of Eximbank of Korea expressed their readiness to continue implementing projects in Kyrgyzstan, which will strengthen economic and social ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Ismailova emphasized the importance of sustainable cooperation with Eximbank, noting that such projects contribute to improving the quality of life of the population and provide conditions for further economic growth.

The parties agreed to continue the dialog and take further steps to implement the planned initiatives.
