Bishkek, March 23, 2022 . / Kabar /. Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Imanov held a meeting with VP of KT Corporation (South Korea) Moon Sung-wook.
Discussion of strategy of state digital transformation of Kyrgyzstan took place during the meeting, the press service of the Kyrgyz Digital Development Ministry said.
Thus, the Korean guests offered their assistance in the implementation of several areas of digitalization of public services and e-government, namely:
- digital transformation of the country;
- public policy;
- ICT infrastructure;
- e-government services;
- areas of improvement.
"For instance, the implementation in several state and municipal bodies of the cost reduction platform "Mobile Notification". In addition, it was proposed to expand the use of publicly available data by sharing user data and to optimize the work of cities through administrative innovations, based on data and the use of a digital twin," the report reads.
"By working together and with your experience and knowledge, we can quickly integrate new technologies into the lives of the citizens of our state. In turn, our team is ready to work tirelessly," Minister Imanov noted.
In turn, the vice president of KT Corporation said that Korea is leader in the ranking of countries of the world on the level of e-government development.
"Our goal is to bring Kyrgyzstan to the forefront of this ranking," Moon Sung-wook said.
The Korean team consisted of leading experts in the government consulting sector at KT C-Level Consulting headquarters.
KT (formerly Korea Telecom) is a Korean company, the largest provider of integrated wireline and wireless telecommunications services in South Korea. Its full name is KT Corporation. It operates in the field of communications and information technology and is the leading fixed-line telecommunications operator and the second mobile operator in South Korea.
