Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2021 / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev held a meeting with First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the Union of Independent States (CIS) Leonid Anfimov, the press service of the Cabinet said.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the upcoming meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments, which will be held on Nov. 12 in Bishkek.
“The Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to this meeting, and is ready to create all the necessary conditions for holding the next meeting traditionally at the highest level. The state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic are actively working to resolve the organizational and protocol issues of the upcoming event,” said Arzybek Kozhoshev.
In turn, Leonid Anfimov highly appreciated the contribution of Kyrgyzstan to the development of the integration association and expressed confidence that the upcoming meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments will be held at a high organizational level.
The sides also discussed the participation of the Observer Mission from the Commonwealth of Independent States in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for Nov. 28 this year.
Arzybek Kozhoshev noted that the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic is making every effort to hold open and fair elections based on democratic principles in accordance with national legislation and the country's international obligations.
