Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2021. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev held a meeting with Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board Mikhail Myasnikovich, the press service of the Cabinet reported Thursday.
Arzybek Kozhoshev noted that the participation of the republic in the Eurasian Economic Union remains a priority in the foreign economic policy of the country.
"We advocate a purposeful increase of further meaningful cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union. From Jan. 1, 2022 the presidency in EAEU bodies passes to the Kyrgyz Republic. We are focused on the implementation of strategic directions of Eurasian economic integration," he said.
In turn, Mikhail Myasnikovich expressed readiness to assist in the success presidency of Kyrgyzstan in EAEU bodies in 2022.
"Undoubtedly, the presidency of the country in EAEU bodies is a responsible task. I would like this presidency year to serve as an additional impetus in the development of the Kyrgyz Republic. We will make efforts for its success," he said.
The meeting discussed topical issues of interaction within the EAEU, including issues related to the implementation of strategic directions within the Union.
