Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. A delegation from the Northwest University of Political Science and Law (China) arrived at the Kyrgyz State Law Academy on November 27, which intends to give lectures to students and teachers of the academy until December 1, 2018, the KSLA reported.
The delegation includes Dean of the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies of the Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Professor Mu Xingtian, Senior Lecturer at the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Lan Di, Senior Teacher at the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Wang Ye, Senior Lecturer at the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Ma Liang. During the week, the teachers from China will give lectures for students and teachers of the KSLA on the topics: National Policy of the People's Republic of China, Antiterrorism, religious extremism; and intend to visit Hans Gross criminalistics complex.
On the first day of arrival, a meeting of the leadership of the KSLA and the delegates from China was held, at which issues of joint cooperation between the KSLA and the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies were discussed. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of Trustees, parliament deputy Kanat Kerezbekov, Rector Rysmendeyev, Vice rector Dmitrienko.
At the meeting, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dmitrienko delivered a presentation on the KSLA and spoke about its future tasks; Dean of the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Mu Xingtian also presented his school and advised the KSLA on general directions and subjects that could be studied by students of KSLA.
The day before, there was a lecture by Dean of the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Mu Xingtian on National Policy of the People's Republic of China, and a lecture by Senior Lecturer at the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Lan Di on “Theory and Methods of a Flexible Anti-Terrorism Strategy”, attended by teachers and students of the KSLA.
Today there was a lecture by Senior Teacher at the School of Ethnic and Religious Studies Wang Ye on “Cross-Border Ethnic Relations in Northwest China”, and Senior Teacher Ma Liang gave a lecture on “Religious Extremism”.
On November 30, a familiarization visit of the delegation from China to Hans Gross criminalistics complex, which is located in the second building of Kok-Jar village, is planned.
During the week, issues of cooperation between the sides will be discussed, which concern joint training of qualified personnel according to agreed educational programs, exchange of faculty members and internships for graduate students, doctoral students between the KSLA and Northwest University of Political Science and Law, assistance from the Antiterrorist Institute in training personnel for the KSLA in informational (cybersecurity), etc.
