Bishkek, July 6, 2022 . /Kabar/ . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov met with members of the Board of Directors of Korea Telecom Corporation (Republic of Korea).
The Kyrgyz Republic became the first country that the full Board of Directors of KT Corporation visited, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of KT Corporation Chung-Gu Kang noted that the main purpose of their visit is to familiarize with the investment climate and business environment in Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, Head of the Economic and Political Research Department of the Presidential Administration Almaz Isanov made a presentation to the Korean side on the country's investment and export potential, and also informed them of the country's plans for digitalization.
The sides also discussed direct investment, cooperation in telecommunications and digitalization.
