Bishkek, Oct.14, 2024. /Kabar/. Kumtor mine has produced a total of 7 tons 960 kg of gold since the beginning of the year, which is 81 kg more than the set plan, Kumtor Gold Company CJSC reported.
The company's revenue for this period amounted to $579.8 million, significantly exceeding the plan of $463.4 million.
Net profit amounted to $216.6 million, which indicates a high level of efficiency of the company and significantly exceeds the plan of $87.9 million.
In addition, Kumtor Gold Company fulfills its obligations to the state, having paid KGS 10 billion 37 million in taxes and other payments.
In the near future, the company will start extracting gold from the spent ore at the mine's tailings ponds.
