Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2021 / Kabar /. A week of celebrating the National Day of the State of Kuwait has completed in Bishkek at International Kuwait University, the press service of the university said.
As part of the celebration week, a scientific and practical conference was held within the walls of the university with the participation of leading scientists from higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait, where scientists initiated to create a scientific center for the study of the historical heritage of Mahmud Kashkari.
Contests and round tables were also organized among students aimed at deepening knowledge about the State of Kuwait and learning the Arabic language. In addition, university students published wall newspapers, where works of young talents in Arabic were published.
“Through such holidays and competitions, we strive to deepen the knowledge of our students and make our contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between our countries,” rector of the university, Doctor of Historical Sciences Asan Ormushev said.
At the final event, a festive concert was organized by the students of the university, prizes were awarded to the best students based on the results of the competitions. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the President of the Smart Generation Foundation, Muhammad Al Zhazhi.
