Kyrgyz Accounts Chamber and EBRD discuss cooperation in public procurement audit

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. The Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan and the EBRD discussed cooperation in the field of public procurement audit.

On October 9, the Accounts Chamber held a meeting with representatives of the technical cooperation project of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) - “The Kyrgyz Republic: Developing New Audit Methodology for Electronic Public Tenders: Implementing eProcurement Audit Methodology”.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the Accounts Chamber led by its head Nurpais Osmonov, as well as Chief Specialist of the EBRD office in Bishkek Julia Shapovalova and international expert of Grant Thornton company Vladislav Muradyan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the development and pilot implementation of public e-procurement audit methodology.

At the end, the sides expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
