Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2020 / Kabar /. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Parliament Talant Mamytov congratulated television and radio workers on their professional holiday - the Day of Television and Radio Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The presidential press service said that in his congratulation message Talant Mamytov said that Dec. 8, 1958 is a symbolic date in the history of Kyrgyz television, on this day the first television program went on the air.
“From that moment on, television and radio began to play an important role in our daily life. TV and radio workers daily and tirelessly cover all the events taking place in our country.
Now, in the age of modern technology, it is impossible to imagine our life without information.
At a time when our country is going through a difficult period of development, you are doing a great job, encouraging people to unity and solidarity, promptly providing reliable information.
Your main goal is to convey objective information to society, to instill spiritual values in future generations, so that our country moves in the right direction. Completing this task directly depends on your creativity,” he said.
The acting president expressed confidence that professionalism and creativity of TV and radio workers will contribute to the stability and development of the country and wished them creative success, new ideas and tireless striving for their hard and difficult work, as well as good health, family happiness and a prosperous life.
