Kyrgyz actress named best of Russian film festival

Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2018. /Kabar/. Actress from Kyrgyzstan Perizat Ermanbetova was awarded the prize for the best female role of the Dvizhenie Russian film festival, the website of the film forum wrote.

She received recognition of the panel of judges for the play of the main role in the film directed by Elizabeth Stishova - Suleiman Mountain.

In addition, the film itself won the main prize of the 6th Dvizhenie-2018 National Festival of Film Debuts, and also awarded a special prize ТВ-3 channel. The channel will support the film, and broadcast it.

The film "Suleiman Mountain" tells the story of the life of a fraudster who travels through the countryside of Kyrgyzstan with two wives and a son, reflecting the struggle of two women for the love of one man.

The 6th Dvizhenie-2018 National Festival of Film Debuts was held on Tuesday in Omsk, Russia. In total, 35 films were submitted for participation. The jury evaluated the works of the contestants in four sections: “Movement. Forward” (main competition), “Movement. Towards” (TV series competition), “Movement. Life” (competition of documentaries) and “Movement. Start” (short films competition).
