Bishkek, July 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India Asein Isaev delivered a speech at the “Eurasian Economic Union -Latin America and the Caribbean: Transcontinental Partnership" foru,m, organized by the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO).
The event was attended by the IETO leadership, the Indian Center for Cultural Diplomacy, representatives of the diplomatic corps, academia, the business community of India and others, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
In his speech, Ambassador Isaev briefed on the Union and the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the organization, and noted the importance of the earliest possible agreement on a draft agreement on a free trade zone between the EAEU and India.
During the event, there was a detailed exchange of views on the opportunities and prospects for trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and India.
The forum participants were provided with relevant information on investment, tourism and trade and economic opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A number of agreements on bilateral Kyrgyz-Indian events were reached and opportunities for specific projects in Kyrgyzstan were considered; in this regard, representatives of Indian business community expressed their intention to visit the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, an agreements were reached on the establishment of the Trade Council between India and the EAEU.
