Kyrgyz ambassador and deputy minister of culture of Saudi Arabia discuss co-op issues

Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2022 / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with Deputy Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fahad Al-Kanaan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the state and prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

In particular, they discussed the possibility of mutual holding days of culture and cinema of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, organizing a joint International Youth Forum with the participation of cultural figures from Central Asian countries and the exchange of creative delegations.

The sides confirmed mutual interest in further expanding cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as accelerating the signing of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture between the ministries of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, Maripov invited Fahad Al-Kanaan to visit Kyrgyzstan at any convenient time.
