Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. An introductory meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Jusupbek Sharipov with President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Boris Paton was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Ukraine.
During the meeting, issues of further bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine in the development of science and scientific technologies were discussed. The Ukrainian side noted the importance of cooperation within the framework of membership in the International Association of Academies of Sciences. In 2009, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between the National Academies of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine, the parties expressed their readiness to re-sign this Agreement taking into account the present time and realities.
The sides expressed mutual interest in deepening and developing the established relations between the National Academies of Science of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.
