Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2019. / Kabar /. A meeting between Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea, Dinara Kemelova, and President of the South Korean University of Konkuk, Professor Sanggi Min, was held in the building of Konkuk University, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of cooperation between universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and Konkuk University to train specialists in the field of agriculture, health care and international relations.
In turn, Kemelova expressed a request to assist in the provision of scholarship for Kyrgyz students at this university. The sides also discussed the possibility of cooperation in creating a joint Kyrgyz-Korean medical center.
Konkuk University is among the top 10 best higher education institutions in the Republic of Korea. There are 58 research institutes, 16 colleges and 13 higher schools at Konkuk University. In addition, there is a medical clinic at South Korean University.
