Kyrgyz ambassador and rector of Academy of Public Administration of Azerbaijan discuss cooperation between universities

Bishkek, April 5, 2024 / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Kairat Osmonaliev met with Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Urkhan Alekberov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, issues of implementation of the memorandum of cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed on April 20, 2022 in Baku, were discussed.

Also on April 4, Ambassador Osmonaliev met with President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage Aktota Raimkulova. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation, in particular, the publication of a collection of poems by the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov in the Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani languages. The translation of the poems into the Azerbaijani language was carried out by the poet, Manas scholar, and honored journalist of Azerbaijan Adil Jamil.

Aktoty Raimkulova noted that the International Fund will support the initiative of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan to publish a collection of poems by Alykul Osmonov, which will serve to bring the cultures of the two Turkic peoples closer together. This publication will be a significant contribution to the development of cultural relations between the two countries and will help strengthen mutual understanding and respect for the traditions and art of the Turkic peoples.
