Issues of bilateral economic co-op between Kyrgyzstan, Turkey discussed

Bishkek, Jan.24, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev met Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, including the importance of holding a meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.

Omuraliyev and Oktay also discussed issues of bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries, in particular the implementation of agreements reached during the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkish Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (Ankara, Nov. 22, 2019).

During the meeting, the Turkish vice president informed that monitoring and control over the implementation of paragraphs of the Action Plan of the above-mentioned meeting is carried out through the Electronic Government program (e-gov.tr).

The Turkish side expressed readiness to participate in the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum to be held in Kyrgyzstan in summer 2020.
