At the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the UK, Ambassador Ulan Dzhusupov met with the director of the British recruiting company AGRI-HR, Jan-Will Narebut, who recruits workers for temporary employment on UK farms under the state seasonal agricultural workers program (SWP).
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said that during the meeting, they discussed expanding the prospects for attracting citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to temporary work, as well as the possibility from 2023 to increase quotas for attracting our citizens to agricultural work in the UK to 2-3 thousand people.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a joint first group of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic arriving for seasonal work in the UK at the end of May this year, as well as visiting one of the farms in England in order to get acquainted with the problems of the population, study work and various aspects of the life of our fellow citizens during the period of seasonal work.
On March 16, 2022, an agreement was signed between the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the British company AGRI HR on expanding the participation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the UK state program for recruitment for seasonal work. The allocated quota for 2022 for the Kyrgyz Republic is 1,000 people.
