Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2024 /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev held negotiations with Chairman of the Belgospischeprom concern Oleg Zhidkov.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail the issues of mutual supplies of agricultural products and food industry products to the markets of the two countries. Erbol Sultanbaev proposed considering the possibility of supplying berries, fruits and dried fruits from Kyrgyzstan for processing at confectionery enterprises in Belarus.
The parties also expressed their intention to cooperate on issues of cooperation in the food industry, production of alcohol and tobacco products.
The Belarusian State Food Industry Concern "Belgospischeprom" is the main manufacturer of food products in Belarus. The concern pursues a unified economic, technical and technological policy in the food industry of the republic, which includes more than 20 sub-sectors. The concern is the largest corporate structure of the Belarusian food industry, including 39 organizations and uniting 13 industries and 19 thousand employees.
