Kyrgyz Ambassador Ismailova presents credentials to Korean President Moon Jae-in

Bishkek, April 27, 2022 . / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea Aida Ismailova presented credentials to President of South Korea Moon Jae-in, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s press service said.

After the protocol ceremony of presenting the credentials at the Cheong Wa Dae, a joint meeting was held between the ceremony participants and President Moon Jae-in, where issues of Kyrgyz-South Korean cooperation were also discussed.

The Korea president congratulated Ismailova on her appointment as Kyrgyz Ambassador to South Korea, wishing her success in the upcoming responsible work to further deepen and expand bilateral Kyrgyz-Korean cooperation.

In turn, the ambassador conveyed to Moon Jae-in warm words of greeting and best wishes on behalf of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.

Aida Ismailova stressed that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During these years, the parties have strengthened political, economic and cultural ties, and at this stage there is a need to further strengthen bilateral ties and to reach a new level of interaction.

She noted that Kyrgyzstan is ready and open to further comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation with South Korea.
