Bishkek, Jan.20, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev paid working trip to Malatya city, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
As part of the trip, Omuraliyev met with Rector of İnönü University Ahmet Kizilay, got acquainted with the activities of the hospital and library of the university.
The Kyrgyz ambassador together with the İnönü University rector visited two young patients from Kyrgyzstan, who underwent liver transplantation.
The sides agreed on the expediency of signing a bilateral protocol providing for academic cooperation and internships in the university hospital for Kyrgyz doctors to gain experience in liver transplantation operations, etc.
İnönü University is a public university in Malatya, Turkey. On Jan.28, 1975, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey ordered the establishment of İnönü University in Malatya.
İnönü University is one of the biggest public university of eastern part of Turkey. İnönü University has 6 campuses, 5 institutes, 15 faculties, 19 research centers and an innovative science and technology park (Technopolis) which is called Malatya Technology Development Zone in Malatya. Over 90,000 students have graduated since 1975 from İnönü University.
Currently, İnönü University has over 1600 faculty members and research assistants, around 3500 graduate students and over 41000 (approximately 1500 students from different countries) undergraduate students.
İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center is one of the biggest research and implementation hospital in the world.
