Kyrgyz ambassador meets with head of Central Bank of Russia

Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Kubanychbek Bokontaev met in Moscow with Head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina and First Deputy Chairman Chistyukhin.

The Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached earlier following the negotiations between the leadership of the two countries, as well as a number of pressing issues of the further development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, including in the banking and financial sphere.

Bokontaev noted that the relations between the two countries are of a strategic nature, Russia is one of the leading trading partners of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also emphasized the key interaction of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation within the framework of the EAEU.

At the end of the conversation, the sides expressed confidence in the further progressive development and strengthening of relations between the two countries. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendliness, mutual understanding and constructive cooperation.
