Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev met with Minister of Agriculture and Food Sergei Bartosh.
During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus in agriculture and food supply.
Erbol Sultanbaev suggested considering the possibility of supplying early vegetables and fruits, as well as dried fruits produced in Kyrgyzstan, to the Belarusian market. He also proposed to develop close cooperation in the organization of the processing industry in Kyrgyzstan, seed production, and the supply of breeding cattle from Belarus.
In turn, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Sergei Bartosh expressed interest in intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation with Kyrgyzstan on the issues discussed. He also emphasized the readiness to cooperate in training specialists in current areas of the agricultural industry.
