Kyrgyz Ambassador meets with Minister of Transport and Communications of Qatar

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2018. / Kabar /. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliev met in Doha with Minister of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulayti, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

During the meeting, the topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of railway, road and air transport were discussed, in particular the creation of a transport corridor for the delivery of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Qatar. In addition, the possibilities of implementing joint investment projects were considered.

The sides stressed the need to establish direct air links between Bishkek and Doha in order to develop bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres. At the end of the conversation, Ambassador Nuran Niyazaliev conveyed to Minister Jassim Al-Sulayti a letter from Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhamshitbek Kalilov.
