Kyrgyz ambassador meets with President of Japan Football Association

Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Japan Mirlan Arstanbaev met with President of the Japan Football Association Kozo Tashima.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account the significant role of sport in strengthening bilateral relations between the peoples of the two countries, Arstanbaev suggested considering the possibility of organizing parallel events as part of football matches between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan.

The parties exchanged views on the upcoming qualifying matches for the upcoming World Cup in 2022 in Qatar on Nov. 14, 2019 in Bishkek and June 9, 2020 in Japan.

At the end of the meeting, the ambassador wished the Japanese side victory in all matches, with the exception of games with the Kyrgyz national team.
