Bishkek, Mar.12, 2020. /Kabar/. In Ottawa, Canada, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Bolot Otunbayev presented copies of his credentials to Canadian Chief of Protocol Stewart Wheeler, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
The Canadian head of protocol congratulated Bolot Otunbayev on his appointment to the responsible post, and wished success in developing cooperation between the countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Otunbayev noted the importance of enhancing bilateral Kyrgyz-Canadian cooperation, including in education, healthcare, agriculture, diversification of trade and economic relations, development of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as establishment of dialogue and exchange of visits between leaders of the two countries.
The sides stressed the need to further strengthen bilateral relations, and expressed readiness for further cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.
