Bishkek, Mar. 14, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan Asein Isayev presented his credentials to Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
At the ceremony, Ram Nath Kovind noted that the relations are developing steadily, based on historical and civilizational ties and are supported by common democratic values.
The President of India positively assessed India’s relations with Kyrgyzstan. He stressed that India attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Kyrgyz Republic, and is ready to deepen political mutual trust and expand cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
In turn, Isayev conveyed greetings, on behalf of Kyrgyz President Jeenbekov, and stressed that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to the development of relations of friendship and cooperation with India on the basis of strategic partnership.
The Ambassador noted that it is democratic values that are a solid foundation for security and stability in Asia.
Isayev stressed that in order to develop strong relations between Kyrgyzstan and India, the Kyrgyz side is ready to implement various projects in such areas as information technology, hydropower, education, agriculture.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of India assured that the political leadership of India will support the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in his work and hopes that his activities will make an active contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.
