Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Erik Beishembiev met Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, exchanges of visits and revitalization of the Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan parliamentary friendship groups, development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Beishembiev emphasized the deep historical roots of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani relations, informed about the trade, economic and investment potential of Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the EAEU and the EU GSP+ program, as well as the country's transit potential as a short road from Pakistan to Central Asia.
