Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2024 /Kabar/. A meeting of the ambassadors of the Central Asian countries with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Edmondo Cirielli took place at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Taalai Bazarbaev took part in the event on behalf of the Kyrgyz side.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting an exchange of views took place on topical issues of interregional cooperation, discussion of interaction within international organizations and regional platforms.
In particular, issues of content for the upcoming meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the “Italy + Central Asia” format, which will be held in 2024 in Rome, were discussed. This event will be held as part of Italy's presidency of the Group of Seven (G7).
