Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev met with Head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev.
Ambassador Osmonaliev told Kabar News Agency that economic diplomacy was discussed during the meeting.
The sides also debated areas of cooperation in the sphere of economic diplomacy and identified specific steps to boost business on a bilateral basis.
"In particular we talked about sending a delegation of Azerbaijani experts - economists to Bishkek, which will prepare the ground for economic interaction between the countries. The main purpose of the fund is to assist the development of the country's economy by attracting foreign investment and export promotion,” the Kyrgyz ambassador added.
Yusif Abdullayev is Vice-President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and regional director for Central Asia.
AZPROMO is a joint public-private enterprise created by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan in 2003.
