Bishkek, May 6, 2024. /Kabar/. A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and Prime Minister of the Federal State of Thuringia Bodo Ramelov on April 30, in the city of Erfurt.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, issues of interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Thuringia in all areas of mutual interest were discussed, with a focus on the development of economic cooperation.
The ambassador provided information about the current Kyrgyz-German economic cooperation, ongoing economic activities between Kyrgyzstan and Thuringia and invited entrepreneurs from Thuringia to invest in Kyrgyzstan. The diplomat also reported on the work being carried out jointly with Thuringia in the field of training qualified personnel from Kyrgyzstan in Germany.
Bodo Ramelov noted the importance of establishing close interactions between Kyrgyzstan and Thuringia and reported on the great potential for cooperation in the mining sector, in the field of new technologies and education.
The parties also discussed issues of organizing a visit of representatives of the economic delegation from Thuringia to Kyrgyzstan this fall and further strengthening cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
