Kyrgyz ambassador to Iran proposes to increase Tehran-Bishkek flights

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2022. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Iran Turdakun Sydykov proposed to increase Tehran-Bishkek flights, the press service the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Turdakun Sydykov, met on Tuesday with the General Director of the Iranian airline Varesh Airlines, Reza Hadadiyan.

During the meeting, Sydykov informed the interlocutor about the policy pursued by Kyrgyzstan in the field of civil aviation, the investment climate and the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Further, he proposed to increase the number of flights between Kyrgyzstan and Iran by opening a direct flight between the capitals of the two countries along the Tehran-Bishkek route.

In addition, in order to increase the flow of tourists from Iran to Kyrgyzstan, he proposed, together with Kyrgyz tourist operators, to prepare travel packages and strengthen the information campaign about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan in the media and social networks of Iran.

In turn, the General Director of Varesh Airlines, Reza Hadadiyan, supported the proposals of the Kyrgyz side and announced his intention to open an office in Bishkek.
