Kyrgyz ambassador to Kazakhstan meets with heads of diplomatic missions of Estonia and Turkmenistan

Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2021 /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeev continues to hold meetings with ambassadors of foreign states in Kazakhstan within the framework of the beginning of his diplomatic mission, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

In particular, a meeting was held on Sept. 14, 2021 at the Kyrgyz Embassy with Estonian Ambassador Toomas Tirs, ​​who intends to be accredited in Kyrgyzstan in the near future.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of Kyrgyz-Estonian cooperation and exchanged views on the most promising areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Estonia.

Discussing the potential of trade and economic cooperation between the countries, Ambassador Dyushekeev noted the existing export potential of the country within the framework of the use of the GSP + system of preferences, and in the investment direction suggested considering the possibility of organizing business forums with the participation of representatives of the business circles of the parties.

In addition, on Sept. 15 Dyushekeev paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Redzhepov.

The heads of diplomatic missions discussed the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held on Aug. 6, 2021 in Turkmenbashi city, and also exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan.

As a result of the mentioned meetings, the sides agreed to continue building up contacts through diplomatic missions in Nur-Sultan.
