Kyrgyz ambassador to Switzerland presents letters of credence to president of Switzerland

Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2021 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Swiss Confederation Almazbek Beishenaliev presented his credentials to President of Switzerland, Guy Parmelin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Parmelen congratulated Beishenaliev on accreditation as the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation and expressed confidence that his further work in this position would contribute to the progressive development of Kyrgyz-Swiss relations.

During the meeting, issues of economic cooperation, interaction within the framework of the Bretton Woods Institutions, cooperation in the field of combating climate change, countering the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of convincing the population to participate in the vaccination campaign against coronavirus, as well as celebrating next year's 30 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations were discussed.

In addition, Beishenaliev conveyed to Guy Parmelin the greetings and best wishes of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
