Kyrgyz Ambassador to Turkey meets with Mayor of Ankara

Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2019. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavash.

The sides noted the need for further development of cooperation in various fields, as well as the establishment of twinning relations between Bishkek and Ankara, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the opening of the park named after Chyngyz Aitmatov and the erecting of his monument.

In order to develop economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, tourism, direct business relations and the mutual flow of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, Omuraliev noted the advisability of opening a direct flight between Bishkek and Ankara, and also invited Yavash to visit Kyrgyzstan.
