Bishkek, Dec. 28, 2022. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev met with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 27 on the occasion of presenting credentials.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the solemn ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.
After the presentation of credentials to the President of Turkey, a bilateral meeting took place, during which Ambassador Kazakbaev conveyed greetings and best wishes to President Erdogan on behalf of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov in honor of the upcoming New Year.
During the conversation, the sides noted the high strategic level of historical friendly and fraternal relations between the states. Ways of further development, expansion and strengthening of bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation, as well as relations between countries in a multilateral format were discussed in detail.
Ruslan Kazakbaev emphasized that the Kyrgyz side attaches particular importance to the development and strengthening of cooperation between the two fraternal states, and also recalled the invitation of President Zhaparov to President Erdogan to visit Kyrgyzstan in 2023.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in turn, congratulated Ruslan Kazakbaev on the start of a diplomatic mission in Turkey and wished him success, while expressing the readiness of the Turkish side to provide all possible assistance in the work of the ambassador, as well as confidence in the further development and strengthening of strategic fraternal relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
