Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov held a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting took place today within the framework of the SCO Ministerial Council.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two states focused on the implementation of the comprehensive agreements reached in 2019 during the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narindra Modi to the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as promising areas of cooperation within the framework of strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and India.
The sides expressed their readiness to intensify the study of the issue of opening flights, concluding an agreement on obtaining a soft loan, and deepening ties in the field of medicine.
They also discussed issues of multilateral cooperation and interaction in the return of citizens of the two countries who are unable to return to their homeland due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
