Kyrgyz and Japanese FMs discuss development of bilateral cooperation

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2018 / Kabar /. Within the framework of his working visit to Japan, Foreign Minister Chyngyz Aidarbekov met with Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono.

During the meeting, the sides noted that relations between the two countries are based on good traditions of friendship and mutually beneficial partnership. In recent years, the bilateral cooperation has dynamically developed and strengthened, which is entirely in the interests of the two states.

Aidarbekov noted Kyrgyzstan’s interest in expanding the political dialogue, trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

In turn, Kono praised the relationship between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan, stating with satisfaction the interaction of the sides in accordance with the governing democratic values ​​and principles. Kono also noted the great contribution of Aidarbekov to the development of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations being the Kyrgyz ambassador to Japan.

The sides expressed the hope that further bilateral cooperation will develop in a comprehensive and full-scale manner for the benefit of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
