Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2023 /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and head of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi discussed the new rules for the entry and stay of foreign citizens in the territory of Kazakhstan, effective from January 2023.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, in this context, the sides agreed to hold consultations on consular issues in the near future.
In addition, during the bilateral talks held on February 28, 2023 in Astana on the sidelines of the C5 + 1 ministerial meeting, the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest and high levels, as well as the upcoming schedule of political contacts between the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, the report said.
At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of the regional and global agenda.
