Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2019. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov held a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov in Nursultan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The foreign ministers of the two countries discussed the state and prospects of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, and also underlined their commitment to further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the spirit of allied relations and strategic partnership.
The ministers also reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached at the level of the heads of state and government of the two countries, and also considered the organization of bilateral and multilateral foreign policy events, visits and top-level and high-level meetings planned for the current 2019.
Particular attention is paid to the preparations for the upcoming visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan.
