Kyrgyz and Kazakh troops conduct joint training exercises

Bishkek, Sep. 01, 2018. /Kabar/. From Aug. 23 to 29 at Otar military base, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Anyrakay-2018 special tactical training exercises were held, with the participation of more than 300 personnel of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh special forces, the press service of the Land Troops of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces reported.

Apart from the army and military transport aviation, the Kazakh unmanned aviation vehicles and artillery units were also involved.

The training exercise were held with the aim to develop international military cooperation and strengthen military brotherhood among the armed forces of the two states, develop methodology for joint planning of special operations in crisis situations, and improve coherence of management bodies, as well as advance the activities of special forces at night during raids and ambushes, directing aviation and artillery.

The final stage of training exercises was attended by Commander of the Land Troops of Kyrgyzstan Colonel Nurlan Kiresheev.

At the end of the training exercises military personnel that excelled during training were awarded with medals and certificates.
