Bishkek, April 27, 2024. / Kabar/. The defense ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia signed agreements in Astana on information exchange and interaction in the field of chemical and biological protection, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
Following the meeting on the sidelines of the meeting of the defense ministers of the participating states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana, two interdepartmental agreements were signed:
1. About information exchange;
2. On interaction in the field of identifying and assessing the radiation, chemical and biological situation.
During the negotiations, Baktybek Bekbolotov and Sergei Shoigu discussed current issues of interaction in the military sphere, and also outlined prospects for further cooperation.
