Kyrgyz and Russian FMs sign Cooperation Program for 2020-2021

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2019. / Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met in Bishkek with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting, the sides discussed pressing issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, emphasized the particular importance of the events and visits this year to strengthen bilateral allied relations.

Aidarbekov congratulated Lavrov on the occasion of conferring him the Honorary Mantle of the Professor of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, noting his informative and interesting lecture to the audience.

The ministers signed a Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for 2020-2021, which defines the main guidelines for the joint activities of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries.
