Kyrgyz and Russian internal affairs ministers highly appreciated current level of cooperation between law enforcement agencies

Bishkek, June 1, 2019 / Kabar /. The meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Kashkar Dzhunushaliev and Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev took place in Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The ministerial meeting was held following the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries.

The ministers of the two states discussed issues of organized crime, the fight against illicit drug trafficking, as well as prospects for international cooperation and interaction.

During the meeting, Dzhunushaliev noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two ministries, stressing that at this stage relations are built on a constructive basis. He expressed confidence that this meeting will give additional impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

The minister of internal affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic invited Russian colleagues to discuss the issue of training and retraining personnel in operational areas.

Both sides praised the current level of bilateral cooperation between law enforcement agencies and expressed their intention to further develop it. It was noted at the meeting that further work will be fruitful, aimed at the development of interstate relations, cooperation and active interaction of the internal affairs bodies of the two countries.
