Bishkek, June 9, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic had today a phone conversation.
During the conversation, a circle of pressing issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres was discussed, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
In addition, the isues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, measures taken to protect public health and combat the further spread of coronavirus infection, were raised.
The ministers agreed with the opinion on the need to intensify bilateral political cooperation at various levels, reviewed the schedule of upcoming events and visits, and discussed the possibility of holding inter-MFA consultations in 2020.
The ministers paid special attention to the issue of increasing trade and economic cooperation and filling the legal framework.
An exchange of views also took place on issues of interaction within the framework of multilateral platforms.
